12 New Mercedes-Benz Models Coming to India; CLA EV to Lead 2026 Rollout
Mercedes-Benz is going to launch 12 new products in India in 2026, consisting of the new models as well as facelifts, with the all-electric CLA EV that leads the charge, likely in the first half of the year, introducing advanced tech like MB.OS and MMA platform. With CLA EV, the other launches will feature Top End Vehicles (TEV), including the G-Class Cabriolet, as well as other electric and ICE options, marking the significant expansion for the brand in India.

2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA EV

Mercedes will bring back the CLA nameplate in EV guise. The svelte, coupe-like sedan retains the character with respect to design and showcases the latest design language of the brand. This is built on the new EV-first MMA architecture, which may also underpin ICE and hybrid models. The new CLA gets the larger wheelbase than before. What CLA will rely on is a digitally advanced interior which debuts Mercedes’s new MB.OS infotainment platform, as well as a lounge-like design and vibe. The 85kWh NMC battery pack gets the range of 792 km, with 272hp on tap and power going to the rear wheels.
2026 Mercedes G-Class Cabriolet

Given the popularity of the G-Wagen in India and the fact that it gets liked by every iteration of the current generation, the upcoming G-Class Cabriolet will most likely arrive here. The camouflaged drop-top G has been undergoing testing in Austria and will be fully revealed towards the end of next year. This will feature the powered fabric soft-top, which retracts to reveal the entire passenger compartment and even the boot.
