7 Cars and SUVs Launching in the next 6 Weeks in India
The next few weeks are going to be very busy for the automotive sector. We are set to witness the launch of a bunch of new products across both the EV and ICE segments. In the blog, there are seven launches scheduled to take place over the next six weeks.

Maruti Suzuki eVitara

Maruti Suzuki will launch the eVitara in India in early January 2026. Built on the Heartect-e platform, Maruti’s first electric SUV will be offered with two battery options, which are 49 kWh and 61.1 kWh. The larger battery is expected to deliver a range of up to 534 km per charge. Along with the conventional purchase option, Maruti Suzuki will also introduce Battery As A Service (BAAS) and subscription models for ownership on the eVitara.
Tata Harrier and Safari Petrol

Tata Motors will launch the petrol versions of Harrier and Safari in the coming weeks. Previously, the Harrier and Safari were offered only with a 2.0L diesel engine. They will now be powered by the new 1.5 L direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine (Hyperion), which recently made its debut in the new Sierra. In Harrier and Safari, the engine produces 170 hp of power and 280 Nm of torque.
Mahindra XUV 7XO

Mahindra XUV700 is set to receive the long-awaited facelift in January 2026. Called the XUV 7XO, the facelift will bring notable styling updates, especially to the front end. The SUV will feature a new grille, redesigned lighting signature, new wheels, refreshed bumpers, tweaked LED tail lamps, and more. Inside, the XUV 7XO will borrow various functions from the XEV 9E and 9S electric SUVs.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift

Skoda will launch the Kushaq Facelift in January next year. This feature offers significant design improvements over the outgoing models, including a redesigned front end, new alloy wheels, and a restyled rear. The lighting signatures will also be enhanced on the new model. The updated Kushaq will be available with 1.0L TSI turbocharged petrol and 1.5L TSI turbocharged petrol engines.
New Renault Duster

The iconic Duster nameplate is making a return this January. Renault will launch the third-generation Duster in India on 26 January. This feature has an all-new design and an upright stance. The key design highlights consist of LED headlights with Y-shaped DRLs, polygonal wheel arches, roof rails, C-pillar-mounted rear door handles, rugged bumpers, bold body cladding, a notched rear spoiler, and a sharply raked rear windshield.
Next-Gen Kia Seltos

Kia Seltos will launch the second-generation Seltos on 2 January 2026. Built on the third-generation K3 platform, the new Seltos is larger than its predecessor. This features refreshed styling and a comfortable cabin. The interior design, layout, and colours are updated in the new model. The dual 10.25-inch screens have been replaced with two 12.3-inch screens, with a small 5-inch display in between, forming the large 30-inch cluster.
