The New 2026 Tata Punch

The  New Outside Look

The 2026 Punch has a fresh, modern design that looks like its electric brother, the Punch EV.

Front: It has a thin 3D grille, new tall LED headlights, and cool LED daytime lights. A shiny silver skid plate makes it look tough.

Side: It keeps its boxy shape with very useful 90-degree opening doors. Higher models get new fancy 16-inch alloy wheels.

Back: It has new connected LED taillights with a light bar across the width. The bumper is new and has a small spoiler.

New Inside Features and  Technology

The inside feels more premium and high-tech, like the bigger Tata Nexon.

The Screens: Top models get a big 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Drivers get a 7-inch digital screen instead of old dials.

The Steering Wheel & AC: There’s a cool new flat-bottom steering wheel with a glowing logo. The AC controls are now a touch panel in fancy models.

The Comfort: Seats have a new two-colour fabric (grey/blue or grey/black) with better thigh support. Now it has rear AC vents and a wireless phone charger.

The Sunroof: You can get a voice-controlled electric sunroof to let in more light.

More Power and New Engine Options

A big, much stronger engine is available now!

The New 1.2L Turbo Petrol: This is a powerful new engine with 118 bhp. It only comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox for a fun drive.

The 1.2L Normal Petrol: The trusted engine is still there with 88 bhp. You can choose a 5-speed manual or an automatic (AMT).

The 1.2L iCNG: The CNG version keeps 210 litres of boot space. Big news: for 2026, you can now get it with an automatic (AMT) gearbox, the first small car to offer this with CNG! It even has paddle shifters.

Top Safety Features

The new Punch is built super safe and has a top 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.

The  Standard Safety: Amazingly, 6 airbags, ABS brakes, Electronic Stability Control, and a Tyre Pressure Monitor are now standard in every model, even the cheapest one.

The Extra Features: Top models have a 360-degree camera that shows all around the car and warns about blind spots.

The Crash Test Score: It got an excellent 30.58/32 score for adult safety and 45/49 for child safety.
