Mahindra Launches Thar Roxx Star Edition at ₹16.85 Lakh
Mahindra has launched the new Star Edition of Thar Roxx, which has been priced at Rs. 16.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The Thar Roxx Star Edition is based on the top AX7L trim and features the new blacked-out exterior and interior cosmetic elements. Mahindra has also added the new colour options to the Thar range with the Star Edition. Let us watch more details.
Exterior and Interior Details
The Thar Star Edition distinguishes itself from regular Thar Roxx with the new gloss-black finish for the grille and alloy wheels. On a regular SUV, the grille is finished in body colour, while alloys are finished in silver. Mahindra has also added the new Citrine Yellow exterior shade to the Roxx colour palette with this Star edition, with contrasting black bits, which looks bold and attractive. Mahindra Thar Roxx Star Edition can also be had in Tango Red, Stealth Black and Everest White.
The light-coloured upholstery got replaced with the all-black theme, with black leatherette upholstery with suede accents. The equipment list remains unchanged from AX7 trim. This continues with features such as all-LED lighting, two 10.25-inch screens for instrumentation and infotainment, front ventilated seats, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, terrain modes, and more.
Powertrain Options
The Thar Roxx Star Edition is unchanged. It carries over both the 177hp with 380 Nm of torque, 2.0-litre petrol and 175hp with 400 Nm of torque, 2.2-litre diesel engine choices, but only the latter is available with both manual and automatic gearboxes; the petrol version gets automatic transmission. The Star Edition is not offered with a 4×4 system; it is rear-wheel-drive only.
