Mercedes Benz launches V-Class at Rs. 1.4 Crore
Mercedes-Benz has launched the 2026 V-Class in India at Rs. 1.4 crore, ex-showroom, with the deliveries starting by the end of March. The facelifted version of the previous V-Class, sold between 2019 and 2022, new luxury van packs various exterior and interior upgrades as well as a new petrol engine option.

Mercedes said that the top-end vehicle segment grew by 11 per cent in 2025, and one in every four Mercedes cars is of the TEV lineup. It decided to bring back the luxury van in its updated avatar. In terms of rivals, the V-Class is up against the Lexus LM and Toyota Velfire.
The carmaker is offering the V-Class only in 3.4-metre extra-long-wheelbase guise, the longest of any Mercedes car in India. The AMG line styling is standard, courtesy of which comes a three-pointed star-studded grille up front; these signature motifs are even on blanked-off air dams below. The mult-beam LED headlights with the daytime running lamps (DRLs) and sporty-looking bumper round off this section.
The slab-sided design in profile is marked by electrically operated doors at the back that slide open/close with the pull on the door handle. The India-spec model is equipped with the dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, which look a bit small given the V-Class’ sheer size; a 19-inch choice is available in select international markets.
