JSW Motors launching Jetour T2 soon!!!
JSW is a big Indian company. They are bringing a new SUV to India called the Jetour T2. It is a big, tough-looking car with special battery + petrol technology (Plug-in Hybrid).

1. When is it Coming?
- You can buy it around Diwali 2026 (October or November).
- The company has shown a teaser (first photo) of the car .
- They are now looking for dealers to open showrooms. Dealers must apply by 11 March 2026 .
- It will be made in Maharashtra, India.
2. Engine and Driving: Best of Both Worlds
This car uses Plug-in Hybrid technology. It is a mix of petrol and electric.
- Small Trips (City): You can drive it like a full electric car for 130 to 139 km. No petrol needed! Perfect for daily office or school runs .
- Long Trips (Highway): When the battery runs out, the petrol engine kicks in. You can drive over 1,000 km without stopping to charge .
- Power: The engine and motors together make about 221 bhp. That is very strong .
- Road Grip: You can get a version where all four wheels get power (AWD), which is great for rough roads and mountains .
3. Looks: Tough and Boxxy
- The Jetour T2 looks like a box – very straight, upright, and strong.
- Many people say it looks like the famous Land Rover Defender .
- It has a big front grille, square LED lights, and a spare wheel hanging on the back door .
- Because it is so big and has 220 mm ground clearance, it can easily go over big rocks, mud, and high speed breakers .
4. Inside: Big Screens and Fancy Sound
The inside of the car will be packed with modern gadgets:
- Big Screens: A huge 15.6-inch touchscreen (like a big iPad) for maps and music. A 10.25-inch screen behind the steering wheel for the driver .
- Music: A powerful 12-speaker Sony sound system. Music will sound amazing .
- Cool Features: You get a panoramic sunroof (big glass roof), ventilated seats (seats that cool your back in summer), and wireless phone charging .
- Space: It has 5 seats. The back seats can fold flat to make a big space for luggage .
5. Safety: Smart Features
The car will be very safe with:
- Level 2 ADAS: This is smart tech that helps you drive. It can keep you in your lane and brake automatically to avoid a crash .
- 540-Degree Camera: You can see everything around the car and even under the car on the screen. Very helpful for parking and off-roading .

- Hill Assist: Helps you start on a steep slope without rolling back .
6. Price and Rivals
- Price: It will cost between ₹15 Lakh and ₹30 Lakh. The fully-loaded, 4-wheel drive version will be closer to ₹30 Lakh.
- Competition: It will fight with big SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and maybe even the Toyota Fortuner.
