2026 Hyundai Verna launched at Rs 10.98 lakh
Hyundai India has rolled out the 2026 model-year update for Verna, priced between Rs. 10.98 lakh and Rs. 18.25 lakh, ex-showroom. The midsize sedan receives various exterior, safety, and interior features upgrades, helping it better compete with the trio of Honda City, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.

On the outside, Verna receives a new black chrome grille at the front, projector setup for LED headlights, and slightly refreshed bumpers, as well as 16-inch alloy wheels. Hyundai has also added two new exterior colour choices: Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.
The biggest feature upgrade has to be Boss mode functionality for the front passenger seat, which none of Honda, Volkswagen and Skoda rivals offers. The driver’s seat also gets the memory function, and the front passenger seat now offers powered adjustment. The new steering wheel with the brand ‘H’ logo in Morse code, a design element that is also present on the Ioniq 5 and Creta Electric.
The digital driver’s display and touchscreen, measures the 10.25-inch each, have been carried over. Hyundai has not equipped the Verna with the dual 12.3-inch screens seen on the Hyundai Venue, likely because the sedan’s platform does not support the newer Nvidia-based E&E architecture.
In terms of safety, Verna’s top trim now offers the 7 airbags, although the rest come with 6 airbags as standard. A 360-degree and built-in dashcam is also part of the package.
