Jawa 1000 Sport Cruiser concept got revealed

The Jawa 1000 Sport Cruiser concept is an ultra-exclusive, limited-run halo project. It represents a dramatic departure from the brand’s usual small-displacement retro bikes. Unveiled as a pre-production prototype at the Brno Motorcycle Show in the Czech Republic, this muscle cruiser is reportedly the result of a joint collaboration between the European Jawa entity and the Chinese manufacturer Jedi. Because it is built purely as a high-end tech and design showcase, production will be strictly capped at just 10 to 15 units worldwide. It carries a massive, collector-grade price tag of roughly €62,000, which is about ₹68.25 lakh. If you are a collector, this is one of the rarest Jawas ever made.

The preliminary specifications highlight a heavy, high-performance powertrain package. It has a 999cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine produces 113 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque. The top speed is 215 km/h. The bike weighs about 240 kilograms. The seat height is 795 mm, and the wheelbase is 1555 mm. The frame is a reinforced double-cradle layout derived from the Jawa 730 Twin. This is a very big and powerful motorcycle.

The concept was penned by renowned Czech designer Jan Hrbek, who also styled the brand’s recent 730 Twin. The visual stance blends a stretched, low-slung cruiser silhouette with sleek, aerodynamic body panels flowing from the fuel tank down to a short tail section. It retains Jawa’s iconic, deep red signature paint scheme. However, it visualises a modern muscle bike identity with a retro round LED headlamp, beefy exposed air intakes, wide handlebars with bar-end mirrors, and a single ribbed seat. The fuel tank is placed intentionally low within the chassis frame to improve mass centralisation and manage the bike’s heavy weight.

To justify its astronomical collector pricing, the display bike at Brno is outfitted with top-tier racing hardware. It has fully adjustable Öhlins suspension at both ends, using upside-down front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. It has high-performance Brembo Stylema monoblock calipers clamping down on dual front discs. It also rides on lightweight forged alloy wheels from OZ Racing and a custom-tuned LeoVince exhaust system. Every part on this bike is top quality.

There is no official launch date or availability timeline for India. Classic Legends, which is the Mahindra-backed entity handling Jawa and Yezdi in India, operates independently from these low-volume European design projects. Because it is a hand-built prototype limited to only 15 units worldwide, it will remain a global collector’s piece and will not enter mass commercial production in India. You cannot buy this bike in India.

If you are thinking of buying this bike, you cannot. Only 10 to 15 units will ever be made. They are all sold to collectors in Europe. The price is about ₹68 lakh. You would have to be a very wealthy collector to even find one for sale. If you want a high-end cruiser available in India, you should look at bikes like the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob or the Triumph Rocket 3. These are also expensive but are mass-produced and available.
