Electric Rolls-Royce SUV Spied: Big Move Toward Electrification
The luxury carmaker, Rolls-Royce, plans to phase away from the ICE league by 2031. Starting out in 2023 with the Spectre coupe (EV), the order books have been completely filled, even before it starts rolling off production lines.

The Rolls-Royce is reportedly working on two more electrics – a sedan and an SUV, the latter of which has been recently spied. With the various carmakers jumping on the EV trend wave, RR will make the point to not be left trailing, and blends in signature luxury with the silence of an EV, which should ideally play out in the flavour.
It is expected to launch in 2027, the new Rolls-Royce will be dimensionally smaller than the Cullinan, although it will be a full-size SUV.
What platform Rolls-Royce adopts with the upcoming eSUV remains unknown for now. What’s known is that these new generation EVs will get a 400km+ claimed range, as well as shift to cylindrical cells, with the prismatic cells being highly likely.
