Ferrari 849 Testarossa unveiled in India!!!
Ferrari has officially unveiled the 849 Testarossa in India. This replaces the SF90 Stradale, sits as Ferrari’s most powerful flagship series-production model, and rivals the Lamborghini Revuelto. The price of the 849 Testarossa starts at Rs. 10.37 crore (ex-showroom), excluding options; deliveries are scheduled to start in the latter half of this year.

The 849 Testarossa has been powered by the plug-in hybrid setup consisting of a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine as well as three electric motors. Two of the motors are mounted at the front axle, although the other motor is located between the engine and gearbox. The V8 engine on its own develops 830hp, while the total power output is 1050hp.
There is also a 7.45 kWh battery that lets the Testarossa drive at electric power only for up to 25 km. The gearbox is an 8-speed automatic, which sends power to all four wheels. Ferrari claims the top speed of 330kph, 0-100kph, and 0-200kph times of 2.25 and 6.3 seconds, for the 849 Testarossa.
The exterior of 849 Testarossa strikes a fine balance between past and present. The front is characterised by the L-shaped LED headlamps connected with the black strip, which is reminiscent of older Ferraris. With the side, the roof and A-pillars get the contrast black paint, and there is a sporty-looking set of alloy wheels. The rear gets the twin-tail design as well as an active aero panel,, which adds up to 100kg of downforce, along with the higher-mounted dual exhaust.
