Ford unveils limited units of Mustang TLD Signature Edition

The 2026 Ford Mustang EcoBoost has just been launched, and a unique limited-edition version will also be up for grabs. The Troy Lee-designed Signature Edition brings about some 1990s style with the radical multicoloured stripe as well as the galloping horse motif. There is more than graphics in the special EcoBoost Mustang that is limited to fewer than 600 examples, as it celebrates the legendary designer.

Ford unveils limited units of Mustang TLD Signature Edition

There was a time in the 1990s into the early 2000s when it was common to watch someone wearing a Troy Lee Designs (TLD) shirt or decked out in TLD gear as they headed for a ride. The man behind the name was once a motocross racer himself, but soon dropped those aspirations to take up painting helmets for his fellow professional riders.

But once Lee worked in conjunction with the Shoei helmets, business picked up as well, and soon he was making full lines of motocross and mountain-bike apparel and safety gear. This continues today, but TLD does venture outside the two-wheel world.

There are only limited to just 550 units of this special 2026 Mustang EcoBoost, which starts off with adding the Mustang GT’s exclusive front body colour of the limited edition. Sinister Bronze galloping horse emblems and grille “nostrils” are installed, and a matching set of 19-inch wheels finishes out the Ford Factory upgrades.
