Honda CB750 E-Clutch Launched at Rs. 10.49 Lakh

Honda has launched the 2026 CB750 Hornet E-Clutch in India. The price is ₹10,49,000 ex-showroom in Gurugram. This bike introduces Honda’s new electronic clutch technology. It is a premium of ₹1.27 lakh over the standard manual version. So you pay extra for this smart feature.

Let us first understand how the E-Clutch works. The system uses electronic actuators to manage the clutch engagement and disengagement automatically. This means you can start the bike, come to a complete stop, and shift through all 6 gears using only your foot shifter. You never need to touch the handlebar lever. That makes riding in traffic very easy. But if you want to ride aggressively like a traditional manual, you still have the physical clutch lever on the handlebar. Simply pulling the lever overrides the electronics instantly. So you get the best of both worlds. This technology is especially helpful in city traffic. It completely removes the constant hand squeezing that causes fatigue when riding big bikes in stop-and-go conditions. So your left hand will thank you.

Now let us look at the specifications and equipment. Apart from the new clutch, the motorcycle’s core mechanical parts remain unchanged. The engine is a 755cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled unit. It produces 90.5 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. The suspension uses non-adjustable Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD front forks and a rear monoshock. The brakes are dual 296mm front discs with Nissin calipers and a 240mm rear disc. The electronics are managed through a 5-inch full-colour TFT display. It features Honda RoadSync Bluetooth connectivity. There are four riding modes: Sport, Standard, Rain, and a custom user-defined mode. The bike weighs 191 kg and has a 15-litre fuel tank. So it is a fairly heavy but manageable middleweight streetfighter.

But it costs ₹1.27 lakh more than the standard version. If you ride a lot in heavy traffic, this could be worth the extra money. If you mostly ride on open roads, the standard version might be a better deal.
