Hyundai Venue HX5+ variant launched at Rs. 9.99 Lakh – features and specs
Less than two months after launching the second-generation Hyundai Venue. Hyundai has launched a new variant to the model’s line-up. This has been priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh; the HX5+ is only offered with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to the 5-speed manual gearbox and is slotted above HX5.

Exterior Features

The Hyundai Venue HX5+ gets the quad-beam LED headlights as well as prominent roof rails with the higher HX6 trim. The HX5+ also features the rear wiper as well as a washer, improving the overall safety. The 15-inch steel wheels, front and rear faux skid plates, and body-coloured outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) and door handles have been carried over from the HX5. The HX5+ lacks the black-painted ORVMs and roof spoiler of the HX6.
Interior Features

For those who like to be chauffeur-driven, the inclusion of a rear sunshade is definitely welcome. Hyundai has also included a wireless charging pad, which means fewer cables and a clutter-free centre console. Sticks to the centre console area, the HX5+ comes with an armrest with an integrated storage cubby.
Powertrain
Under the bonnet of the Hyundai Venue HX5+ is a 1.2-litre four-cylinder ‘Kappa’ engine, which produces 83 hp and around 115 Nm of torque. It is the same mill that does duty from the base HX2 variant, which is right up to HX6T, and is mated to the 5-speed manual transmission as standard. The Hyundai Venu 1.2 has an ARAI-rated mileage of 18.05 kmpl.
