Hyundai Verna Facelift Spied – Design and Features
The Hyundai Verna Facelift has been spotted on multiple occasions, with wrapped test mules hinting at revised rear and front ends. Newly surfaced spy shots give us glimpses of what the overall silhouette could possibly look like.

Verna Facelift gets vertical headlights units, revised taillights, and redesigned alloys. The door handles retain the same conventional design language. The sedan also features a dual-screen curved cluster with likely wireless Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay.
The subtly visible steering wheel hints that the unit is borrowed from the new Venue. This suggests that the Verna Facelift should ideally receive new upholstery and interior colourways, possibly a dual-tone finish with textured and soft-touch materials.
Mechanically, the Verna Facelift is highly likely to mirror the outgoing iteration. It offers 1.5 naturally aspirated engine producing 113 bhp and 144 Nm of torque, along with a turbocharged engine producing 158 bhp of power and 253 Nm of torque.
Verna Facelift could offer a Hybrid powertrain
Verna Facelift may even get a 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain. Hyundai has confirmed eight hybrid models across several segments for the Indian market by 2030, so Verna could be a recipient of this new powertrain and thereby serve as a direct rival to the Honda City e:HEV – the only hybrid sedan available in the mass market.
