Jetour T2 Plug-in Hybrid SUV India Launch Set for 2026 Under JSW
JSW Motors Limited, JSW Group’s independent passenger mobility division, is going to launch the first automobile in India this year, and as per the sources, the first model, which is to arrive, is the Jetour T2 SUV. JSW has ambitions of being a carmaker in its own right, and T2 will be launched independent of the company’s joint venture with MF. This would carry a JSW badge as well as the model name instead of Jetour branding.

About Jetour
Jetour is the brand which was launched in 2018 by the Chinese carmaker Chery and is focused on SUVs, though they have marketed some rebadged Chery hatchbacks. Right now, Jetour operates in its home market, China, global markets like the Middle East, Africa, and some countries in Southeast Asia, as well as Latin America.
Features and Specifications
The pure ICE version of T2 are avaialble. JSW’s stated intent of concentrating on sustainable mobility, India will watch the T2 i-DM arrive with the 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid powertrain. The plug-in hybrid arises with two versions: AWD and FWD. Though details of which one will be launched here are not known.
The Jetour T2 is a large SUV with the traditional boxy, upright design, and like the Defender, it too uses a monocoque construction instead of a ladder-frame setup. The Jetour T2 measures 4.7 meters in length and 2 meters in width, giving the footprint larger than that of the Tata Safari. Although it is a 5-seater, the 7-seat version is longer still.
