JSW Jetour T2 SUV getting launch in India before Diwali
JSW Group is all set to debut the first independent automotive brand, JSW Motors. To start with, the company will launch the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV based on the global Jetour T2. The brand has confirmed that the first product will be launched in the market before Diwali 2026. The launch will mark a strategic pivot for JSW Group, moving beyond the JV with MG Motor to establish the standalone automotive brand.

The Jetour T2 is expected to carry a different nameplate before entering the Indian market. This features a boxy design with inspiration from the Land Rover Defender. Although the design looks rugged, the SUV uses a sophisticated monocoque platform and promises to offer car-like handling along with the rugged 220 mm ground clearance.
The new Jetour T2 plug-in hybrid SUV will be assembled at the upcoming Greenfield manufacturing plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. This measures 4785mm in length, 2006mm in width, 1875mm in height, and 2800mm in wheelbase.
The new Jetour T2 will be packed with the massive 15.6-inch central touchscreen infotainment unit as well as a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. This offers a 12-speaker Sony Sound system, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, and automatic climate control and other. For safety and security, the SUV gets the multiple airbags, LEVEL 2 ADAS, hill-start and hill-descent assists, a 360-degree surround view camera.
