Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster debuts as the brand’s most powerful drop-top!! 

The Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster has officially debuted as the brand’s most powerful open-top model ever. It delivers a staggering 1,080 CV, which is about 1,065 horsepower, from its V12 hybrid powertrain. The car was unveiled at the Lamborghini Arena 2026 in Imola, Italy. This is a “Few-Off” hypercar, which means it is made in very limited numbers. Only 15 units will be made worldwide. This makes it even more exclusive than its coupe sibling, which had 29 units.

The Roadster uses a high-performance 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine. This engine is paired with three electric motors and a small 7 kWh battery pack. The engine alone produces 835 CV, which is the highest output for a V12 in Lamborghini’s history. The hybrid system adds extra power and torque. The performance numbers are incredible. The car can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, which is exactly the same as the coupe version. It can go from 0 to 200 km/h in 6.8 seconds, which is only 0.1 seconds slower than the coupe. The top speed is over 340 km/h.

To make a roofless version of the car perform as well as the coupe, Lamborghini had to re-engineer several aerodynamic and structural elements. The windshield is redesigned. It has an integrated carbon fibre spoiler that deflects air over the cabin. This air then cools the engine bay and the brakes.

The roof-mounted intake from the coupe is replaced by a twin-buttress design. This design has integrated rollover protection and revised vents to let hot air escape. The chassis uses a multi-technology carbon fibre monofuselage. This means the entire passenger cell is made from a single piece of carbon fibre.

This gives extreme rigidity while keeping the weight increase very small, despite the extra structural reinforcements needed for a roadster. The launch specification features a ‘Blu Cepheus’ blue finish with ‘Rossa Mars’ red accents. This colour combination pays homage to the 1968 Miura Roadster and the colours of the city of Bologna, Italy.

The Fenomeno Roadster is part of Lamborghini’s “Few-Off” series, which includes other ultra-rare icons like the Veneno and the Sián. The price is approximately €3 million, which is about $3.25 million US dollars or roughly ₹27 crore Indian rupees. All 15 units were reportedly sold out before the public reveal. This means even before most people saw the car, all 15 had already been bought by wealthy collectors.

You would have to find a collector willing to sell theirs, and you would have to pay a huge premium over the original price. You would also need a budget of at least ₹30 crore or more.
