Bajaj has expanded the electric scooter range with the launch of the all-new Chetak C25 in India. This has been positioned as a lighter, more youthful addition to the Chetak family. The new model is aimed at urban commuters looking for easy, everyday mobility. Below are the top 5 key highlights:

Price
The Chetak C25 is priced at Rs. 91,399 (ex-showroom), which makes it the most accessible model in the lineup of Chetak. This will be available across all the Chetak stores pan-India. With this launch, Bajaj offers a more affordable gateway into the electric portfolio, targeting first-time EV buyers.
Design

Although the scooter retains the brand’s signature metal body, C25 adopts a more compact form. This features the neo-classic design with the premium paint finish, mono-body construction, signature DRL headlamp, and is available in six colour choices. Bajaj says that styling caters to younger, urban users, giving the scooter a cleaner and more contemporary appearance.
Performance
In terms of performance, the Chetak C25 has been powered by 2.5kWh battery pack and delivers the claimed range of up to 113 km on a single charge. This consists of a top speed of 55 kmph, making it suitable for the daily commutes only.
Safety
In terms of safety, this gets the colour LCD display, USB charging, hill-hold assist, and IP67-rated protection for the key electrical components. This also gets the disc brake that improves safety.
Features
The Chetak C25 offers a 25-litre under-seat storage area, which Bajaj claims is sufficient for daily errands or groceries. With the kerb weight of around 107-108kg, the Chetak C25 remains very light by EV standards, and makes it easier to ride in tight parking spaces as well as congested urban areas.
