New Brezza 2026 launch date
Maruti Suzuki Brezza is expected to receive its first major update since the current model launched in 2022. The upcoming facelift may feature subtle design tweaks, minor interior upgrades and possibly safety features to stay competitive in the compact SUV segment.

Exterior Design
The upcoming Brezza facelift is likely to receive subtle design updates. Spy images reveal new four-spoke blacked-out alloy wheels with a turbine-style pattern. The headlamps are expected to look slimmer, while the rear may get the LED light bar. The bumpers may get slightly reshaped, too. The upright stance as well as compact proportions remain unchanged, so that it will not be gar removed with the current model.
Interior Features
Inside the Brezza, the update is expected to bring minor enhancements rather than a complete redesign. The current 9-inch and 7-inch touchscreens are likely to be retained. Updates may include a new upholstery design, refreshed cabin trims and a few added convenience features. The additional safety tech could also be introduced at higher variants.
Powertrain Options and Rivals

The upcoming Maruti Brezza facelift is expected to continue with the same petrol engine as well as gearbox options, the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 103 hp as well as 137 nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. A CNG option is also expected to be offered. The complete information on the powertrain setup will be available closer to launch next year.
With the newer rivals offering the advanced features, a mild update should help the Brezza stay competitive in the compact SUV segment. Brezza competes with Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kylaq, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Fronx, Renault Kiger, Toyota Taisor, and Nissan Magnite.
