New Hyundai SUV Caught Testing on Indian Roads
The new Hyundai SUV has been spied testing on Mumbai roads by the intrepid reporters. This SUV seems to be the all-new model, which has yet to be identified.

The spy shots of the new Hyundai SUV show the upright stance as well as a boxy design, with the thick MRF tyres and appear to be 16-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, which give the requisite muscly look. The SUV has flared wheel arches, bulges, which look like plastic body cladding around the wheel arches, flush-sticking door handles, a funky-looking rear spoiler with the stop lamp, and LED tail-lights in the dotted pattern,s which are reminiscent of the Ioniq 5. Other features include a shark-fin antenna, black roof rails, a blacked-out window line which curves upwards at the rear, and a flat tailgate that merges into the beefy-looking rear bumper.
While our-on-scene reporter was unable to get the shot of the new Hyundai SUV’s interior, some details of note were sizable about the 10-inch digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen. The nodules on the outside rear-view mirrors indicate that hit as been fitted with a 360-degree camera.
Which model is it?
Actually, the model has not been identified exactly, the new SUV could be the muscular model with the off-road capabilities which Hyundai teased in its investor presentation last October last year. The model, which was teased alongside an MPV, is likely to be a new monocoque SUV with an all-wheel-drive system. On the other hand, the SUV could also be the Hyundai version of Kia EV2, which is the sister Korean brand’s smallest all-electric car.
