Range Rover SV price cut by Rs. 75 lakh before India-UK FTA rollout
While the India-UK FTA was signed last year, an official date for the rollout has not yet been announced. In anticipation of its implementation, JLR India has replaced the UK-imported SV variants of the Range Rover and Sports SUVs, dropping prices significantly.

The Range Rover SV now costs Rs. 3.5 crore, down by Rs. 75 lakh (or 17.7 per cent) from Rs. 4.25 crore, although the Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two got priced from Rs. 2.35 Crore, Rs. 40 Lakh (or 15 per cent) less than the previous Rs. 2.75 crore price tag. The revised prices are effective immediately. Along with the significantly reduced prices, the Range Rover SV now gets the Ultra Metallic paints in Gloss and Satin finishes as standard.
The prices of locally assembled models such as Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Velar, and Discovery Sport will not change. Defender and Discovery prices will also remain unchanged, as they are produced in Slovakia & don’t fall under the India-UK FTA.
We had previously estimated the potential price drop for the Range Rover SV to Rs. 3.61 crore, which is pretty close to the final price. In the case of Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two, our Rs. 2.35 crore estimate matches exactly.
