Rolls-Royce to Launch Electric SUV in 2026

Rolls-Royce is readying the first all-electric SUV ever, which can break cover in the coming months and launch globally in 2027. The British marque’s second EV and second EV, the upcoming Rolls-Royce model, has been aimed squarely at Bentley’s debut EV, which is also slated to be unveiled in 2026. The Rolls-Royce electric SUV was originally scheduled for a 2025 debut.

Exterior Design

A prototype of Rolls-Royce electric SUV has been recently spotted winter-testing at BMW Group’s proving ground in Sweden, confirming blocky and upright proportions to Cullinan but with the unique styling elements.

Like the Rolls-Royce Spectre, the electric SUV sports the split-headlight arrangement up front, features segmented daytime running lamps (DRLs) as well as a larger air dam in the bumper. The Rolls-Royce’s iconic ‘Pantheon’ grille design also did not seem to be present on electric SUV.

Powertrain

The compatibility might be the issue, provided that the Architecture of Luxury platform is almost nine years old. There are also choices of Rolls-Royce electric SUVs being powered by the same 102kWh dual-motor setup as Spectre, which puts out up to 695 hp as well as 1,075 Nm of torque, and delivers the WLTP-claimed range of up to 530 km.
