Tata Motors to debut Punch EV facelift on February 20
The Tata Punch EV facelift is going to debut in India on 20 February 2026. The e-SUV has been on sale in India since January 2024. Although the details of the facelifted model are unknown, it is likely to take plenty of inspiration from the ICE-powered Punch, that receives the mid-cycle update in January 2026.

Tata Motors recently launched the ICE Punch facelift in India, and Punch EV is likely to get inspired by this. The design differences between the Punch’s ICE as well as EV versions, that consists connected LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), front changing lid, as well as aerodynamics designed alloy wheels, that are expected to be carried forward. The facelifted Punch EV is likely to come with LED taillights like its ICE counterpart.
Inside, the dashboard layout of the Punch EV facelift is likely to remain unchanged, and Tata Motors can equip it with the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the bigger Nexon EV. The other features will continue, like a 10.25-inch driver’s display, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM) and ambient lights.
Although Tata Motors has yet to confirm the facelifted models’ powertrain choices, thay are likely to be unchanged. The upcoming Punch EV could get the 25kWh as well as 35 kWh battery pack choices with the range of 265 km and 365 km. The small battery pack comes mated with 82 hp and 11 Nm of torque electric motor.
