Tata Nexon Facelift 2026 Spied Testing on Indian Roads
A wrapped test mule of the ICE Tata Nexon got spotted on Indian roads. Although there is no facelift planned for now, the same could house the new powertrain combination.

The wrapped test mule has the exact same silhouette, lighting, and plastic elements as the existing model. The ICE units could get the CNG + AMT combination, which is currently lacking in the lineup.
The Tata Nexon is offered with the turbo-CNG setup, as opposed to the conventional NA + CNG combination which rivals offer. This is the advantage, since the loss of power is not very noticeable. The twin-cylinder implementation saves a few boot spaces.
The Tata Nexon gets the various powertrains – petrol (118bhp/178 Nm), CNG (99bhp/170 Nm), diesel (113 bhp/260 Nm0, and electric (30kWh, 127bhp/215 Nm, 45kWh, 143bhp/215 Nm).
The CNG + AMT combination will diversify powertrain offerings, thereby offering prospective buyers a wide spectrum of choices. CNG powertrains are typically received well, and the Nexon has been a testimony of the same. Adding the missing piece will give the Nexon a powertrain ecosystem.
