Tata Safari Red Dark Edition in India: Everything You Must Know
The Tata Safari Red Dark Edition features bold black exteriors with red accents, along with a Carnelian Red interior. It is available in XZ+, XZA+, and XZA+(O) trims, with a starting price of around Rs. 22.61 Lakh (ex-showroom) at launch. The SUV offers features such as ventilated seats, ADAS, and a 360-degree camera, providing a premium, tech-loaded experience with its 2.0 L diesel engine as well as manual and automatic options.

Exterior

Visually, Safari’s aesthetics have been enhanced with the Oberon Black exterior shade, complemented by splashes of red accents at the front grille as well as on brake callipers. It rides on the same 18-inch Charcoal Black alloy wheels, and the Dark Badge at the fenders receives red detailing.
Engine and Transmission

Under the long bonnet, the Safari Red Dark continues to be powered by the 2.0-litre diesel engine. The motor is BS6 Phase 2-compliant, and it produces 168 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. The transmission options consist of a six-speed manual as well as a six-speed automatic transmission.
Interior
The cabin receives several updates, highlighted by Carnelian Red leatherette upholstery with a quilting pattern, along with Dark accents on the headrests. The Tata Safari Red Dark Edition is now equipped with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a seven-inch digital driver’s display.

Another key highlight of this special edition is the set of ADAS features, which is the first for the Tata Models. The active safety includes the blind-spot monitor with a 360-degree camera, rear cross-traffic alert, forward and rear collision warning with autonomous braking, traffic sign recognition and lane departure warning.
