VLF Tennis Electric Scooter Gets the price drop in India!
A price drop can easily shift people’s view of a product, which is exactly what has happened with the VLF Tennis electric scooter. With the reduction of price, which is Rs. 30,000, the VLF Tennis now comes with the ex-showroom price of Rs. 99,999. This single move puts the one lakh mark, and it is a player in a much more competitive space in the Indian EV market.
The VLF Tennis scooter is sold in India through MotoHaus dealerships and is available across 15 locations. Many more showrooms are expected soon, which is a good indication that VLF is quite serious about the expansion.
The VLF Tennis focuses on comfort, practicality and provides a premium feel. This uses a removable LMFP battery with a 2.6 kWh capacity. It is claimed that the IDC range is 150 km. The charging time is around three hours with the 720 W charger. This consists of a top speed of 65 kmph.
The scooter offers three ride modes, which are Eco, City, and Sport. Each of the modes alters the speed as well as range, which allows the riders to be flexible depending on the day’s use. The ride quality is one of the strong points. The hydraulic rear monoshock features the progressive cantilever design, with the telescopic front forks. This helps the scooter to be stable on uneven city roads. The aluminium swingarm, as well as 12-inch wheels with the wide tyres, adds to the planted feel.
