Yamaha R15 2026 Price Reduced by ₹5,000 in India; Base Variant at ₹1.51 Lakh

As per the sources, Yamaha has dropped the prices of the R15 range in India by Rs. 5000. The R15 bikes now start with Rs. 1.51 lakh as well as go up to Rs. 1.91 lakh for the top-spec R15M with the “Icon Performance” colourway.

With respect to the GST 2.0 implementation in September 2025 that had lowered taxes on bikes up to 350cc, Yamaha had cut the R15 price by up to Rs. 17,581 that bringing it down from Rs. 2.12 lakh to Rs. 1.94 lakh for the R15M ‘Icon Performance’.

In addition Rs. 5000 price cut, the R15 range now starts at Rs. 1.51 lakh for the base R15S, which is essentially an R15 V3 with the single-piece seat, along with a few other differences. The R15 V4 range costs an additional Rs. 15000 over the R15S, but it gets you with the latest R7-inspired design with the mono-projector headlight, a split seat, various colour options, a USD forks, among other differences.

The top-spec R15M price is Rs 10000 more than the V4, as well as gets a bunch of sophisticated components, like as a TFT dash, a quickshifter (standard) and iconic Yamaha Racing colourways, including the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP livery. The Icon Performance, which is the same as the R15M, costs Rs. 10000 over the ‘M’ model, for its colourways have been priced at Rs. 1.91 lakh.
