Bookings for the electric SUV remain open for a token amount of ₹25,000. If you want a stylish, feature-packed electric SUV from Toyota, the Ebella E3 is now available.

The Ebella E3 is driven by a front-mounted single electric motor. It generates 171 horsepower, which is 128 kW, and 189 Nm of peak torque. It is packed with a robust 61 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, which is called an LFP battery. This type of battery is very safe and long-lasting. It delivers an ARAI-certified driving range of up to 543 kilometres on a full charge. It is capable of charging from 10% to 80% in 45 minutes using a DC fast charger.

The front fascia showcases Toyota’s global signature “hammerhead” closed-off grille styling. This helps differentiate it from the Maruti e Vitara. It is fitted with premium LED headlamps, integrated signature LED daytime running lights, and 18-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels. The car is available in 5 solid monotone and 4 dual-tone body colour choices. You have many options to choose from.

The top-tier E3 variant is heavily equipped with Toyota’s i-CONNECT connected ecosystem and a dual-screen digital layout. It has a 10.1-inch central touchscreen unit featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has a crisp 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster for the driver. The cabin luxuries include a panoramic fixed glass roof, a premium JBL sound system, 12-colour ambient lighting, and ventilated front seats. The rear seats have a modular 40:20:40 split with rare sliding and reclining capabilities. This gives you a lot of flexibility for carrying passengers and luggage.

The Ebella E3 prioritises high-level passenger protection. It comes equipped with 7 airbags as standard, including driver knee protection. It features a full suite of Level 2 ADAS, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Pre-Collision systems. It also bundles a 360-degree panoramic camera monitor, Hill Hold Control, Multi-Collision Braking, and Electronic Stability Control, which Toyota calls VSC.

The vehicle warranty is covered for 3 years or 100,000 kilometres. The battery warranty has extended coverage for 8 years or 200,000 kilometres. The car is serviced across over 500 BEV-ready specialised Toyota touchpoints nationwide. So you will have no trouble finding service centres.

If you are thinking of buying the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella E3, you should do so if you want a top-spec electric SUV from a trusted brand like Toyota. You want a range of 543 kilometres on a full charge. You want the safety of 7 airbags and Level 2 ADAS. You want premium features like a panoramic glass roof, a JBL sound system, and ventilated seats. You have a budget of about ₹23.60 lakh. You can wait for the lower-priced E1 and E2 variants if you want to save money, but they will have fewer features.

You should consider the Hyundai Creta EV if you want a rival electric SUV with a similar price and range. You should consider the Maruti e Vitara if you want the same car with a different badge and slightly different styling. But if you want the Toyota badge and the top-spec features, the Ebella E3 is the one to buy.
