This will share roots with the Maruti Suzuki’ eVX platform, with the distinct styling, providing different battery and powertrain options, which are like 49kWh/61kWh packs for the different ranges, as well as competing in the growing electric B-SUV segment, which is priced competitively in the Rs 20-25 Lakh range in India.

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ is a compact, retro-styled SUV which was unveiled at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. It has been designed to be a rugged and capable off-roader. This shares the IMV platform with vehicles like Fortuner as well as Hilux and will be available with both hybrid and petrol powertrains, but not diesel engines. Toyota had announced plans to launch in India in late 2028, where it will be competing with rivals like Mahindra XUV700 and Mahindra Scorpio.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

The 7-seater Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has not been released, although it is expected to launch by December 2025 or in October 2026, as per the sources. This new three-row version is the joint development with Maruti Suzuki, and it will be based on the current Hyryder and Grand Vitara platform. Toyota Hyryder will likely be priced between Rs. 21.00 to Rs. 26.00 lakh as well and will compete with vehicles like Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
