Upcoming launches in India in 2026
Renault Duster (Launch in Q1 2026)

On 26 January 2026, the Renault Duster will make its long-awaited return to Indian market. According to the sources, the version we receive will be more upmarketed than the Duster sold internationally, featuring more premium trim and upholstery finishes.
Although the engine options for the new Duster are yet to be confirmed, we expect the 156 hp 1.3-litre “HR 13” turbo-petrol engine to be a part of line-up, offered with both manual and CVT transmission. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine from the Kiger could power the entry-level variants, possibly with the small power bumps.

Renault is also preparing a larger, seven-seat derivative of new Duster which is expected to launch in fourth quarter of 2026. The exterior is likely to take styling cues from the Boreal or the Bigster sold in international markets. This models features a longer body, three rows of seats, and distinct design elements to set it apart with the standard SUV.
Under the skin, it will share its powertrains with the Duster, including the 1.3-litre HR13 turbo-petrol engine and possibly smaller 1.0-litre three-cylinder unit. A future hybrid powertrain also on the cards. The name remain uncertain for now, as Renault could still choose for incorporate ‘Duster’ into the badge when it reaches to showrooms.
