BMW F 450 GS is coming to India soon.
BMW F 450 GS is coming to India soon. It’s a big deal for adventure bike lovers. Everyone has been waiting for this bike—the BMW F 450 GS. Now BMW India says it will be here early next year, sometime around February or March 2026. That’s not so far away.

What we know so far:
The bike will likely be priced between ₹4.5 to ₹5.5 lakh. This price is before registration and insurance are added. A lot of people are already asking dealerships how to book it. Some shops are taking ₹10,000 to ₹25,000 now to hold your spot, even though the bike isn’t officially here yet.
What’s special about it?
This bike is made right here in India, at TVS’s factory in Hosur. That’s part of the BMW and TVS partnership.
It has a new 420cc engine—more power and smoother than many smaller bikes.
The bike also comes with some clever features:
Easy Ride Clutch – so you don’t stall easily in traffic.
- Shift Assistant Pro – lets you change gears without using the clutch (on higher versions).
- Big color screen – shows maps from your phone.
- Different ride modes – for rain, road, and off-road.
- Special “X” shaped LED light – like the bigger BMW GS bikes.
It will be offered in four different styles: Basic, Exclusive, Sport, and GS Trophy.
Who will it compete with?
When it arrives, it’ll go up against bikes like the KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and Honda NX500. For someone looking for a capable mid-size adventure bike from a premium brand, this could be a very interesting choice.
What should you do if you’re interested?
Go to an authorised BMW Motorrad dealership and ask them for updates. Let them know you’re interested. They can tell you about the waiting time and the exact booking process. And remember—the price you see in ads is before road tax, registration, and insurance. So always ask for the final “on-road” price before you decide. It looks like a proper adventure bike in a smaller, more affordable package. Let’s wait and see how it rides.
