Volvo Unveils New EX60 with Claimed Range of Up to 810km
Volvo has unveiled the EX60 for European market. The first product built on Volvo’s new EV-dedicated SPA3 platform, EX60 marks the carmaker entry into the luxury electric midsize SUV segment. The EX60 is the electrified counterpart to the ICE-powered XC60, and follows European markets, this will launch in the US at later date.

Exterior Design

The front end of EX60 has the split headlamp setup with the LED DRL signatures and LED headlamps at either side of bumper. The grille gets a closed-off finish, and bumper has a black scuff plate lower down. The side profile features smooth surfaces overall, characterised by subtle character line on wheel arches and doors.

There is sculpted crease and black cladding on lower side of doors. Instead of traditional door handles, the EX60 comes with the illuminated wing grip handles mounted at the window line. The Wheel sizes ranges from 20 inches to 22 inches, and rear wheels are slightly wider for better tractions.
Interior Design

The EX60 gets the dual-tone interior with the layered dashboard. There is a two-spoke steering wheel which gets the physical buttons as well as toggle switch to control volume. You get the steering column-mounted drive select stak, a large central glove box and plenty of storage choices in the front centre console. Seats can be opted for different colours and upholstery finishes.
Powertrain Options
The Volvo EX60 has been offered in three trims. The base P6 electric features 83kWh battery pack with the rear mounted motor produces the 374 hp and 480 Nm of torque. The mid spec P10 AWD trim gets the 95kWh battery and an addditional front-mounted motor with the total output of 510 hp as well as 790 Nm of torque. The top of the line P12 AWD packs a 117kWh battery paired with the dual-motor setup produces 680 hp and 790 Nm of torque. The WLTP-claimed ranges P6, P10 AWD and P12 AWD are up to 620km, 660km and 810km. The EX60 charges with the 10 to 80 percent in under 20 minutes with 400kW DC fast charger and supports AC charging speeds of up to 22 kW.
