Skoda Kylaq has crossed the 50,000-unit sales milestone. For celebrating occasion, the carmaker is providing the benefits of up to Rs. 50,000 as well as 50 per cent off a one-year Skoda Maintenance Package. The Kylaq is Skoda’s most affordable as well as only sub-4m model on sale, competing in the popular compact SUV segment. This is a strategically important model for the brand as it accounted for nearly 62 per cent of its sales pevious year. Last year’s GST revisions, which lowered the tax rate on sub-4m cars as well as resulted in price cuts, have helped boost the Kylaq sales.

The SUV is now the bestselling model of Skoda, crossing over 50,000 units in sales in 13 months, becoming the brand’s quickest model to achieve this milestone. To keep up demand, Skoda has also increased its Chakan plant’s production capacity by 30 per cent.
