QJ Motor SRK 421 RR Unveiled

QJ Motor, which is a Chinese bike manufacturer owned by the Geely Group, has been aiming to penetrate the European market as well as it has now unveiled the small-displacement inline-four motorcycle for the region.

Powering SRK 421 RR, name suggests, is the 421cc inline-four, liquid-cooled engine which churns out 78hp at 14,000 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 13,000 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine comes nestled with a “steel-aluminium composite braided frame”, that is in simpler terms means a trellis-style frame which incorporates the both steel and aluminium.

The frame is suspended with a fully adjustable USD fork as well as a monoshock from Marzocchi. The stopping power comes courtsey of Brembo, that grabs onto twin 300mm disc with the four-piston callipers. At the rear, a Brembo two-piston does the job in tandem with the 240mm disc.

The electronica suite consists a 5-inch TFT dash which can cycle between two riding modes – Normal and Sport – to tweak throttle response, ABS and traction control intervention. The brand says that Sport mode is designed for the track use, allows slight-rear wheel slip and wheelies. QJ Motors will also sell you tyre-pressure monitoring kit and even front and rear integrated cameras as accessories.
