Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2026 Burgman Street with updates across design, comfort, features, and performance for the maxi-style 125cc scooter. With more than 1.1 million units already sold in India, Burgman Street has built a strong place for itself, and the latest version builds on this as a premium family scooter.

The new Burgman Street has been launched in two variants. The Ride Connect Edition has been priced at Rs. 1,01,944 ex-showroom Delhi, although the Ride Connect TFT Edition is priced at Rs. 1,13,220 ex-showroom Delhi. The Suzuki will also continue to sell the earlier Burgman Street EX alongside the new model at Rs. 1,07,902 ex-showroom.

The new scooter follows the sleek and modern theme with the familiar overall shape, but now with the cleaner detailing as well as a more premium finish. The new elements include the body-mounted split-lens LED headlights with integrated position lights, compact LED indicators, and an updated LED tail-lamp, metallic-finish emblems, a dark smoked windscreen, and a more stylish upswept muffler.

Suzuki has retained the long as well as wide footboard, which allows riders to stretch their legs more easily and settle into a relaxed riding posture. The seat is long as well, with enough room for both rider and pillion. One of the more useful upgrades is a larger underseat storage area, which has grown from 21.5litres to 24.6 litres and can now take a full-face helmet.

Suzuki’s ESP Suzuki Eco Performance engine platform is derived from the successful Access line. The 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor produces 8.2 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque. The torque figure is up from the earlier model’s 9.8 Nm of torque, and Suzuki says the CVT has been revised to improve response in the 30-60 kmph speed range.
