Hyundai Announces 1% Price Increase on Cars From May 2026
Hyundai has announced that it will hike the prices of its models by up to 1 per cent from May 2026. Although the model-specific price increments have not been disclosed, the manufacturer has stated in a stock exchange filing that “the quantum of increase will vary based on variants and models”.

Going with the current prices, expect the hikes to range anywhere between Rs. 5,500 and Rs. 4.63 Lakh, depending on the model. This will be Hyundai’s second price increase in 2026, following a 0.6 per cent revision in January. The automaker raised the prices of the new-generation Venue by up to Rs. 20,000 in March after the end of introductory pricing.
