The upcoming Toyota MPV will be heavily based on the same architecture as the Maruti YMC, which itself is derived from the e-Vitara’s HEARTECT-e platform. This means the vehicle is built on the dedicated EV platform rather than an ICE-converted one, as well as would have a flat-floor design for better cabin space, and saw on Urban Cruiser Ebella. The Vehicle is expected to have a better weight distribution and strong structural rigidity.

This will be a proper ground-up electric MPV/CRossover. While the core structure remains identical, Toyota will be making its own tweaks to the vehicle, such as a revised front fascia with the signature grille styling. The vehicle could be slightly sharper with the more premium design cues.

Since the vehicle is coming with the YMC as well as the e-Vitara lineup, we can expect a strong feature set. The vehicle can get ventilated seats, a 10-way powered driver’s seat, and dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment and cluster. A fixed glass sunroof can also be offered. The wireless charging, premium cabin materials & Level 2 ADAS for safety.
