Lifestyle off-roaders like the Thar and Jimny have captivated Indian buyers with their bold, upright military styling. Now, that same retro-geometric aesthetic is arriving in the electric segment. The Chery iCAR 03, a rugged all-electric 4×4 crossover, has been spotted testing undisguised on Indian roads in association with JSW Green Mobility.

Measuring 4.4 metres in length with ultra-short front and rear overhangs, the iCAR 03 boasts a retro-futuristic silhouette with vertical ‘i’-signature LED daytime running lights and an external storage cubby mounted on the side-hinged tailgate.

Unlike front-wheel-drive city crossovers pretending to be off-roaders, the iCAR 03 features genuine dual-motor All-Wheel Drive capabilities:
