The first model is the 2026 Honda City Facelift. It has already been launched. The price ranges from ₹11.99 lakh to ₹21 lakh, ex-showroom. The refreshed premium sedan brings sharper styling updates, standard LED lighting, and interior enhancements like ventilated seats. It continues with its 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol variant and the highly efficient e:HEV strong hybrid powertrain.

The second model is the Honda ZR-V Hybrid. It has been unveiled and pre-bookings are open. Deliveries will start in July 2026. This is positioned as a flagship premium SUV imported from Japan as a Completely Built Unit. It features a 2.0-litre direct-injection hybrid system delivering 184 horsepower. It has Level-2 ADAS technology. The estimated price is between ₹40 lakh and ₹50 lakh.

The third model is the Honda 0 Alpha EV SUV. Testing is underway. The expected launch is by early 2027. This marks Honda’s first mass-market all-electric vehicle in India. This born-EV SUV is based on the global “0 Series” design philosophy. It will be locally produced in India for both domestic sales and global export markets. The design heavily prioritizes a “thin, light, and wise” setup.

The fourth model is the Honda Elevate mid-life refresh. It is planned for mid-to-late fiscal year. The Elevate has now completed three years in the Indian market. It will receive a mid-lifecycle cosmetic and feature update to keep it competitive against segment rivals.

The fifth and sixth models are global icons. The final two slots will be occupied by Honda’s legendary global nameplates brought in to act as premium brand builders. Models like the Honda Civic, Honda Accord, and Honda CR-V are top candidates being evaluated for local assembly via CKD kits at Honda’s Greater Noida facility. Additionally, the futuristic Prelude hybrid sports coupe is also under close consideration as a niche halo offering.

Beyond this fiscal year, Honda Motor Company has officially reclassified India as a top-three priority global market alongside North America and Japan. The brand has locked in a broader target of launching over 10 new models in India by 2030. This pipeline formally includes a highly anticipated sub-4-metre compact SUV and an all-new midsize SUV tailored explicitly for Indian consumer preferences. These are slated to arrive starting in 2028.

If you are tracking these upcoming releases, you should wait for the City facelift if you want a premium sedan with a hybrid option right now. You should consider the ZR-V Hybrid if you have a high budget of ₹40 to ₹50 lakh and want a flagship hybrid SUV from Japan. You should wait for the 0 Alpha EV SUV if you want Honda’s first mass-market electric vehicle made in India. You should keep an eye out for the Civic, Accord, CR-V, or Prelude if you want a legendary Honda nameplate.
