Ultraviolette Tesseract launch expected soon!!
The Ultraviolette Tesseract is a futuristic electric scooter designed for speed, long range, and advanced safety features. It was first shown in early 2025, but the company has delayed the production version to refine the technology. Now, the final production model is expected to be revealed after June 2026, with customer deliveries likely starting in the second half of 2026. Ultraviolette also plans to showcase the Tesseract at the EICMA 2026 show in Milan, Italy, in November.

The Tesseract is a “maxi-scooter,” which means it is bigger and more powerful than a regular scooter. It competes with high-end petrol scooters and other electric scooters. The scooter is offered in three different variants based on battery size. The base variant has a 3.5 kWh battery, giving a range of 162 kilometres. The mid-spec variant has a 5 kWh battery and a range of 220 kilometres. The top-end variant has a 6 kWh battery and a range of 261 kilometres. All three variants have a top speed of 125 kilometres per hour.
The Tesseract is powered by a 20.1 bhp electric motor. This motor is very powerful for a scooter. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 kilometres per hour in just 2.9 seconds. This makes it much faster than most petrol scooters and even many electric scooters on the market.
The scooter is loaded with world-first technology. It is the first scooter to feature onboard radar technology for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. This includes blind-spot detection, collision alerts, and overtaking assist. The scooter also has front and rear dashcams, a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display with Violette AI voice assistant, keyless access, cruise control, hill hold assist, park assist, and 34 litres of under-seat storage. For safety, the Tesseract comes with dual-channel ABS, traction control, and dynamic stability control as standard.

Each battery variant has a different price. The base 3.5 kWh variant costs ₹1.45 lakh, the 5 kWh variant costs ₹1.70 lakh, and the 6 kWh variant costs ₹2 lakh. Ultraviolette initially offered a special introductory price of ₹1.20 lakh for the first 10,000 customers, which was later extended to the first 50,000 customers. The current starting price is ₹1.45 lakh.
The scooter is available in four colours: Solar White, Stealth Black, Sonic Pink, and Desert Sand. It rides on 14-inch wheels and has a 34-litre underseat storage compartment that can fit a full-face helmet. The Tesseract also features dual LED projector headlamps with floating daytime running lights, wireless phone charging, onboard navigation, and multiple ride modes with adjustable regenerative braking.
Ultraviolette has received over 70,000 bookings for the Tesseract. The company plans to deliver the scooter to customers in 2026. The Tesseract will be sold through Ultraviolette’s own experience centres called “UV Space Stations.” The company also has a network of service centres in major cities.

If you are thinking of buying the Ultraviolette Tesseract, you should do so if you want a high-performance electric scooter with long range, extremely fast acceleration, and advanced safety features like radar-based blind spot detection and collision alerts. You should also consider it if you want a scooter with a large touchscreen, dashcams, cruise control, and hill hold assist. The 34-litre storage space is very practical for daily use. However, you should buy it only if you have a high budget of at least ₹1.45 lakh and if you are willing to wait until 2026 for deliveries. You should also be okay with the fact that Ultraviolette’s service network is still growing and is not as widespread as brands like Ola or Ather.
You should consider other electric scooters like the Ola S1 Pro or Ather 450X if you cannot wait until 2026, if you have a lower budget, or if you need a scooter immediately. Those scooters are available now and have established service networks. However, they do not have the radar-based safety features or the high top speed and acceleration of the Tesseract.
