The battery is a 60.5 kWh BYD Blade Battery. This battery is known for its very high safety. The claimed range is 427 kilometres, which is very close to the Volkswagen. Fast charging is at 88 kW, taking about 29 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. The BYD is slightly longer, wider, and taller than the Volkswagen.
The Volkswagen ID. Polo GTI is designed for driving enthusiasts. It has adaptive suspension called DCC, progressive steering, and an electronic differential lock. It has a special GTI driving mode. The 13-inch infotainment screen is large and responsive. A unique feature is the “retro mode” on the digital instrument cluster. This mode makes the screen look like a classic Golf GTI gauge cluster.
