Next-Gen Tata Tiago and Tiago EV Launched, Prices Start at ₹4.69 Lakh
Tata Motors has officially launched the generational upgrade of the Next-Gen Tata Tiago and Tiago EV facelifts. The introductory prices start at ₹4.69 lakh, ex-showroom, for the petrol base model. The full-ownership Tiago EV starts at ₹6.99 lakh. Under the new Battery-as-a-Service option, the entry-level price for the Tiago EV drops to ₹4.69 lakh plus a battery usage charge of ₹2.6 per kilometre. The mechanical foundations continue to offer multiple fuel choices across different setups. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivers 86 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. The 1.2-litre iCNG engine generates 73.4 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque. Five-speed manual and five-speed AMT options are available for both petrol and CNG variants. A segment-first feature is that the Tiago iCNG AMT variant now comes equipped with paddle shifters. These are used to change gears manually without using the clutch.
