Aprilia SR 125 Tribute Edition launched from Rs 1.17 lakh
Aprilia has launched special Tribute Edition versions of its sporty SR 125 and SR 175 scooters in India. The prices start at ₹1.17 lakh for the 125cc model and ₹1.24 lakh for the 175cc model (both ex-showroom). These special editions are a tribute to the Indian Armed Forces, featuring a rugged, military-inspired design . They cost a little more than the standard models—about ₹3,000 more for the SR 125 and ₹2,000 more for the SR 175.

Design and Styling
The Tribute Edition gets a bold new look that makes it stand out from the regular scooters . The main bodywork is finished in a matte military olive green colour . To complete the camouflage effect, the front apron and sides get yellow, beige, black, and red graphic inserts . The 14-inch black alloy wheels are accented with red pinstripes, and there is a subtle matte brown shade near the rear panel . The scooter looks rugged, sporty, and very distinct .
Mechanical Specifications
The Tribute Edition is purely a cosmetic update. There are no changes to the engine, chassis, or hardware. The SR 125 Tribute Edition continues to use a 124cc air-cooled engine that produces 10.6 hp and 10.4 Nm of torque. The SR 175 Tribute Edition is powered by a larger 174.7cc engine that puts out 13.2 hp and 14.1 Nm of torque, giving it sharper acceleration . Both scooters keep their steel frame, telescopic front forks, rear monoshock, and 220mm front disc brake . The SR 175 also continues to offer its premium 5-inch TFT digital display with Bluetooth connectivity and single-channel ABS .
The Aprilia SR Tribute Edition brings a fresh, military-inspired look to these sporty scooters. There are no mechanical changes, but the new camouflage livery gives them a distinct and bold road presence. Bookings are open at dealerships, and deliveries will start soon.
