Both bikes are based on the latest Tiger 900 platform & receive distinct styling themes along with the range of factory-fitted accessories. The Tiger 900 Alpine Edition is a more road & touring-focused model of the two. Based on the GT Pro, this features a Snowdonia White & Sapphire Black paint scheme with blue accents and touring-oriented detailing.

The Tiger 900 Desert Edition is based on Rally Pro & adopts the more rugged, off-road-oriented character. This gets Baja Orange highlights, additional protection equipment & adventure-focused styling elements.

Powering the motorcycles is Triumph’s 888cc liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder T-Plane engine that produces 108 hp at 9,500 rpm and 90 Nm at 6,850 rpm. The engine got paired with the six-speed gearbox & bi-directional quickshifter.

The pricing strategy for the two special editions is interesting. Although the Tiger 900 Alpine Edition commands the Rs. 95,000 premium over the GT Pro it is based on, the more rugged Tiger 900 Desert Edition is priced at Rs. 10,000 lower than the Rally Pro donor model despite receiving the unique styling.

The Tiger 900 ranges continue to feature the premium suspension hardware, TFT instrumentation, several riding modes, and an extensive electronics suite. These two new editions got showcased alongside Triumph’s refreshed Bonneville range & other global reveals, consisting of the Street Triple 765 RX & Speed Twin 1200 RS Cafe racer edition.
