Design and Looks – Old School Charm
The scooter looks like it came straight from the 1940s, but it is brand new. The main colour is Verde Pastello (pastel green), which is a soft, vintage green shade that Vespa found in its old archives. This exact colour was used on the first Vespas in 1946.
The wheels have a diamond-cut finish, and the design of the wheels is inspired by the original Vespa 98 from 1946. There is a special “80th” plaque on the front apron, which is the panel at the front of the scooter. On the rear, there is a badge that says “80 years of Vespa Est. 1946.”
The seat is grey with special stitching that matches the vintage theme. The exhaust heat shield has a satin finish, which looks smooth and not too shiny. The mirrors and grab handles are colour-matched to the pastel green body. Every small detail has been thought about to make this scooter look special.
Modern Features – Old Looks, New Tech
Even though the Vespa Tech 80th Edition looks like a scooter from the 1940s, it has all the modern features you expect today. It has keyless ignition, which means you do not need to insert a key to start the scooter. You just keep the key fob in your pocket and press a button.
The scooter also has a 5-inch TFT digital instrument cluster. This is a small colour screen that shows your speed, fuel level, and other information. It also connects to your smartphone so you can get call alerts and navigation instructions on the screen.
Under the skin, the engine, brakes, and suspension are the same as the regular Vespa Tech models. Only the looks are different.
Why Is This Special?
This is a collector’s edition. Only 100 people in India will own one. The colour, the badges, and the small details make it different from any other Vespa on the road. If you buy this scooter, you are not just buying a vehicle. You are buying a piece of history. Vespa is celebrating 80 years of making scooters, and this limited edition is their way of saying thank you to fans.
Where Can You Buy It?
The Vespa Tech 80th Edition is not available at every showroom. It is only sold through Motoplex outlets and select premium Vespa dealerships. You should call your local dealer first to check if they have this scooter in stock. Because only 100 units are available, they may sell out very quickly.
