VW Taigun Facelift Launched at ₹11 Lakh With 40 Updates and 8-Speed Auto
The Volkswagen Taigun facelift has officially gone on sale at the starting price of Rs. 11 Lakh. Volkswagen has also announced the new assured buyback scheme for the Taigun facelift, which promises a residual value of 75 per cent of the ex-showroom price. This will be valid for up to Rs. 3 years and 30,000 km and will be applicable of Taigun bookings placed on 31 May, 2026.

Despite being mechanically identical to the updated Skoda Kushaq, the Taigun facelift is Rs. 31,000 more expensive in trims with respect to price. This is also pricier than the new Renault Duster (Rs. 10.49 lakh – 18.49 lakh), which got launched recently. The other rivals consist of Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Maruti Victoris, and more.

The Taigun facelift brings forth the same 115hp 1.0-litre and 150hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines as the previous model, which too with the -speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox choices. The 1.0 TSI now gets the same 8-speed torque converter automatic, which debuted in the Kushaq facelift.
On the outside, the Taigun facelift notably features the reshaped headlights, updated bumpers, illuminated front and rear emblems, revised rear LED light bar, new alloy wheel design, and a pair of fresh colour options, namely Avocafo Pearl and Steel Grey.
